Welcome to First Grade Resource!

Hello all. My name is Laura Santana and I am the first grade resource teacher. I have been teaching special education for 22 years.  I have taught self-contained classes and resource. Resource is my favorite because I work hand in hand with general education teachers and also other special education teachers. It is wonderful to see how much a student learns from September to June.

 

As the resource teacher, I teach with the general education first grade teachers. I modify the assignments for the resource students to better understand the lessons. I also progress monitor the resource students' goals in order for me to teach each student correctly.
