I have been teaching in the North Bergen School District for over 20 years.  My passion in English, reading and writing led me to a B.A. in English and a Masters Degree in Reading.  Further pursuits to help my struggling readers were met at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Here I completed the two year intensive requirements necessary to earn IMSLEC accreditation in the Orton Gillingham approach along with certification as a Dyslexia Therapist.  Through additional multisensory instructional training, I received a Dyslexia Practitioner Certification from Wilson Academy.

 

Working with our students in helping them to meet their reading potential is my goal.  Watching their faces light up as mastery of concepts is achieved is the shared reward.
