Ms. Moreno

I would like to take this time to introduce myself.  My name is Carina Moreno; I have worked 21 years as a teacher and this is my 13th year as a 1st grade teacher. 

I am looking forward to working with your child this year and helping him/her achieve his/her full potential. I would like to share some of my beliefs and classroom policies.

I believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success.  Studies show that parental involvement in a child’s education is one of the strongest indicators of student achievement, and I strongly agree with that.  I am working together as partners in the education of your child. As partners, we should both be fully aware of your child’s progress. Throughout the year, I will communicate with you through notes, telephone calls, texts, and parent-teacher conferences.  I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time.
