Welcome
My name is Mrs. Ortiz. I have been teaching for 16 years in North Bergen. I graduated from Caldwell college. I currently have BA plus 15. I’m married and have a 7 year old son, named Cristiano. My favorite colors are hot pink and purple. I love anything that sparkles. On my free time I love to spend more time with my family.
My mission is to teach in a fun way where all children can learn. I strive positively reminding all children that “they can do it.” I encourage my students to always think positive and that we are training to be a “genius.” I work closely with all my parents. I encourage communication with my parents to make sure your child is on task. My goal is for all my students to leave my classroom door with confidence and ready for first grade. I love all my students as if they were my own.
Dear Parents,
First and foremost, I hope this email finds you well and safe. There are a few things you should be aware of starting Monday, March 30th:
- Please remember to log your child in daily into the Kindergarten Student Check-In form that is found on the Lincoln School website.
- New Kindergarten packets will be available for pick up at the following locations: Lincoln Annex, Franklin, John F. Kennedy and North Bergen High School between the hours of 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. These new packets will cover the next two weeks.
- Packets will also be available for download in a pdf format on the Kindergarten homepage, your child's teacher webpage, and the Lincoln Annex facebook page.
- Save your child’s completed work. It will be collected when school resumes.
- Please know that your child's teachers are here to support you. They will be available for you to communicate with via email between the hours of 9:00 am - 1:10 pm and 2:00 pm to 3 pm. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need any assistance.
